It stands out for its wide range of services, making it an ideal location for water sports, swimming, and enjoying the local cuisine. It offers parking, showers, and easy access. Nearby, you will find Santa Marta Beach, with similar features.

Cíes islands
What if we told you that you can reach the world’s best beach from Cangas? It is not just us saying it—renowned British publication The Guardian awarded this title to Rodas beach in the Cíes Islands.
In the Cíes, you can explore various trails and excursions to enjoy a protected natural environment. Because of this, access to the park is limited daily, and you must request prior authorisation to book a boat ticket.
Get ready to discover a unique destination!
Ons island
Less than 15 minutes from Cangas, departing from the port of Bueu, you can reach Ons Island—one of Galicia’s most breathtaking natural paradises. Let yourself be carried away by its magical landscapes, where you will find unique rock formations such as furnas, including the famous Buraco do Inferno. Experience a place teeming with life, with exceptional wildlife, and immerse yourself in its rich ethnographic and cultural heritage.
Just like the Cíes, access to the island is limited, and prior authorisation is required to visit.
Enjoy an unforgettable experience!
Sports & activities
From kayaking or paddle boarding to hiking or cycling routes, the area offers a wide range of activities for you to enjoy nature at its finest.
One of the most iconic routes is the Cabo do Home hiking trail, a scenic and accessible trek that will take you through stunning beaches, dramatic cliffs, and its iconic lighthouses. And, of course, a must-see: the Cabo do Home seashell sculpture, the perfect spot to witness one of the world’s most breathtaking sunsets.
